Kate Bingaman-Burt is an illustrator & educator.

Her work orbits around the objects in our lives: the things we buy, the things we discard, and the collectivity and social interaction that can arise from cycles of consumption. Via illustrations, daily documentation, publications, events, large-scale participatory projects, client work, and a full-time role as educator, Kate’s work invites a dialogue about contemporary forms of exchange.

Vh1

I worked with a great team at Vh1 this fall on the new show "Why Am I Still Single?". The episodes are streaming on VH1...go and check it out if you are into watching embarrassing dating situations. I provided illustrations for the opening titles as well as patterns for the transitions. The amazing Change the Thought in Denver made the magic motion happen. Some billboards are floating around LA that have my drawings on them as well. WHAAAAA?
